Nkiruka Christina Anakor obtained her first degree in banking and finance and a Bachelor of Science (Nursing). She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP). She obtained her second master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a prestigious Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Massachusetts (Umass Global). She worked in multiple hospitals, rising to the Director of Clinical Nurse Educator. She transitioned into the County hospital as a Charge Nurse/Supervisor and is currently the Director of Nursing for the Mental Health Emergency at Riverside University Health System (RUHS).
As a Nurse leader and provider, Anakor is compassionate, caring, and a mental health advocate with a philosophical desire to help and support patients and families. Provides quality of care, promotes safety/supportive care, critically assesses and evaluates problems to provide Evidence-based treatment for patients to promote and improve patient experiences, safety, and outcomes.
She is exceptionally grateful and eager to work with a multidisciplinary staff with an integrated practice to provide comprehensive needs assessments in various patient care settings.
